Celebrating 4th of July 2025

Leading the annual 4^th of July Parade for the Hockaday Neighborhood Association this year were resident military veterans: Stephen J. Hammer, Matt Scorcio, Stan Denegre, and Mark Penley.  They were followed by Engine #2 firefighters and close to 100 Hockaday neighbors. Red, white, and blue bedazzled bikes, trikes, strollers, and golf carts processed through the neighborhood towards The Hockaday School grounds, where a DJ lead the patriotic ceremony honoring our veterans, followed by games, music, and refreshments. Many thanks to our many HNA event volunteers and parade participants, and a special shout out to the police and fire department for their support.
