HNA's 2025 Fall BBQ Was A Great Success
HNA’s 2025 Fall BBQ was a perfect neighborhood gathering, complete with delicious BBQ from Sonny Bryans Smokehouse, games, face painting, and balloon animals on The Hockady School's sprawling tree-shaded lawn. Many thanks to event chair, Catherine Woodward and several neighborhood volunteers, including Susan Parker, Barb Mitchell, Connie Campbell, and Steven Eggers. Thanks also to face-painter DeDe Carson and a balloon artist from Aha Party—both a hit with our HNA kids.
Celebrating 4th of July 2025 Leading the annual 4th of July Parade for the Hockaday Neighborhood Association this year were resident military veterans: Stephen J. Hammer, Matt Scorcio, Stan Denegre, and Mark Penley. They were followed by Engine #2 firefighters and close to 100 Hockaday neighbors. Red, white, and blue bedazzled bikes, trikes, strollers, and golf carts processed through the neighborhood towards The Hockaday School grounds, where a DJ lead the patriotic ceremony honoring our veterans, followed by games, music, and refreshments. Many thanks to our many HNA event volunteers and parade participants, and a special shout out to the police and fire department for their support. HNA Fall BBQ 2024
